Pause via OSD. Skip back or forward. Attempt to resume, nothing will happen. Attempt to resume again, and playback will resume. So the two clicks to resume only happens if you skip forward or back after pausing. If you just pause and then resume, it works fine.
I’m not seeing a 2 minute skip while paused. I am seeing a ~30 second skip while paused, which is still more than the usual 10 seconds. After that initial large jump, its 10 second skips.

Yes, I am seeing the same. I tested it after reading this and it’s as you have found for me as well.
Yes, after doing some more testing, it’s skipping back 30 seconds while paused but only the first time. After it does that then it continues acting normal again. Odd bug though.
I just updated to version 5.1.0.188 on the Shield. The skip forward behavior is improved.
Here is what I am seeing now: When I hit the pause button after the OSD comes up and move the direction pad to the right there is an initial skip forward (in the correct direction now) that moves 30 seconds but the selector doesn’t move over to the right over the OSD direction arrow. So, it basically does one skip when you move to the right before you are over the OSD arrow. Then the next click highlights the OSD arrow and clicking the OSD arrow functions as normal. I see the exact same behavior if I go to skip back the first time as well.
So, it’s improved by the fact that now the first click to the right doesn’t go backwards, it now goes forward but still a little wonky but definitely can be worked with much more easily now. Once you get used to it at least.
After you are done skipping forward or backwards it still takes two clicks on the pause icon to continue playback. A little annoying, but still, not the end of the world.
This is using the Shield’s Remote control (not the Game Controller). I haven’t used it yet since I don’t ever use it when watching videos.
@jesusMC - I am not sure if it was intentional, but I just updated to the latest ATV Beta tonight and I have watched 4 shows since and the skip forward/back issue and having to hit the play button twice to restart playback seem fixed so far. Fingers crossed.
@jasonmcroy Yeah the fix for that problem it’s in latest beta, so hopefully it works as expected now. If it’s fixed, could you mark this thread as answered?

Yes, since my last post all seems to be going smoothly. In fact, I just started using the Android remote control app on my phone and it’s awesome that I can pause, skip forward and back without the OSD popping up!
I am not sure if hitting answered on your last post marks the “thread” as answered, but that is what I hit. Let me know if there is some other way to mark it differently.
