Default skip back/forward seconds on clicking the button or using the arrow keys is 10 seconds for Skip Back and 30 seconds for Skip Forward.
Frequently when I misheard something or missed some scene, I skip back to catch up with it. But 10 seconds seems a bit too much skipping to catch something I missed 2 - 3 seconds ago, and being able to just skip back 5 seconds would be much more preferable in such situations.
So it would be nice to be able to customise these timings for the skip buttons to our desired values in settings, instead of the fixed skip timings.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
