Skip Interruption on Android Mobile

After the new player UI I haven’t been able to cancel the automatic credit skip button on Android Mobile (I’m in the beta program on latest).

Some shows I watch get skipped prematurely when they have ending scenes with overlayed credits, so it’s been really useful to cancel the automatic skip in real time when the skip button appears. On Android TV you can do this by hitting the back button on your remote when the skip button is visible. But on my Android phone, no interaction I’ve tried can interrupt the automatic skip when they button appears.

Can we look into fixing that? Should be able to tap the screen or something to cancel the automatic skip countdown button.

Look under settings - player experience - skip credits.

I’m not asking to disable the automatic credit skipping entirely, which is what the setting you suggest would do.

What I’m asking for is to return the ability to cancel the skip credit button before the delay runs out and it initiates the skip.

Ah, sorry misunderstood your request. I can confirm that you can’t cancel the countdown.
