Skip Intro: Does and Dosent work?

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6562

I cannot get skip intro to work on all TV Shows, same device, same server, diffrent show. Is there a way to manually say "“Scan for Intros” or something, because I would like it to work on the show that I have because I brought plex pass as one of these reasons. Can you help?

Also, are there any good plugins to use with plex or side by side programs? Thanks, R3tr0

If it’s working for some shows on your server that means it’s been enabled.

Could be your server is still busy processing your library; it’ll usually do that during the maintenance hours configured in the server settings. The processing time will depend on the number of shows and how powerful the server CPU is.

Keep in mind:

  • Plex will only detect intros which are at least 20 seconds long and happen within the 1st half of an episode .
  • Intro detection is based on the audio track; it won’t detect intros with different background audio (e.g. if there’s changing voiceover)

It should be well powerful enough, 32 cores. I have adjusted the maintenance time to be all day to solve my issue then reduce it later. Thanks for your help.
