“Skip Intro” only works intermittently for me. On some shows, it’s always there - on others, it’s not. For example, “Peacemaker” has the exact same 90-second intro each week but I never see the skip button. The intro for “The Last of Us” is the same each week and I sometimes see the skip button.
I have a lifetime Plex Pass and have “Generate Intro Video Markers” set as a ‘scheduled task and when media is added’ so there’s no reason that I can see that this should be so hit-or-miss. I enabled ‘skip intro’ as soon as Plex announced it way back when. Figured it would get better over time, but it hasn’t. Am I missing something?

Not manually (as far as I can recall… may have done so in the past as a troubleshooting effort), but I do have “Perform extensive media analysis during maintenance” set to run as part of the Scheduled Tasks.
I’m not sure but if Scheduled task time perimeters are short it may not have completed. I have found very few TV series that it does not work with on my Server.
What you can try, your able to Analyze at TV series level. To see if it fixes your issue as a test.
My Scheduled Tasks run in a 3-hour window. I’ll try manually analyzing and see if that improves anything. All of that aside, shouldn’t analysis of each episode take place when it’s added to the library?
