I have noticed that after the last update or two my “skip intro” is frequently at the wrong place in the video. This wasn’t a big issue before.
I am running the latest plex pass stable server release as of now.
I am using an NVIDIA shield, not sure if the player has anything to do with it but I want to say I noticed it on the Xbox one X also
I’ve had the same issue in the last few days.
The Skip Intro has been showing up at the wrong timestamps. Sometimes it shows up in the middle of the intro sequence, other times it shows up randomly in the middle of the episode.
Yup, same problem here too. Had this on Android and Windows. PMS Beta v1.24.1.4931

Yep same here, latest stable PMS on docker and skip intro is way out
I was having the same issue, but, I fixed it by running “analyze” on the TV shows. It seems to only work at the season level, not, the entire show series.
Glad that worked for you, but oh god, for me that could be a days work! I hope they fix it. At least maybe I can try it with the current show I’m watching
Same issue here as well since the last 4-5 days. Plex media server is on Windows as well.
Latest update did not fix it
as time consuming as may be, that is the only thing that may fix the issue… My problem, though, is do I have to do it every time there is an update?? In my case, I don’t have that many TV shows … but, that will change…
As far as I can tell, this is the only solution too… I searched the forums and it’s come up before…
I also did the analyze on each season and was able to do so one after the other, so, Plex was able to process all the clicks without waiting… if that helps…
try it, let us know if it worked…
I’ll give that a shot soon, I did do analyze on the entire library, it dragged on the processor just a tad but didn’t work, I’ll try two seasons of a show about to start and see
