i dont have sky tv yet but i would if i could record to plex tv and movies its there anyway to get sky ( satellite tv ) so i can recored programs and movies to plex no the sky box
would make my home media plex server complete

sorry well i know dvr for freeview is amazing! but i wana add sky tv to the system to watch and record satellite to plex as well
unfortunately, no, sky do not offer a CAM module for there sky viewing card, there used to be several software cam programs that decrypted the channels with the official sky card in a 3rd party set top box, but sky closed down the backdoors to the decryption keys.
so currently no there is no way of legally to get Sky to plex.
IF you purchased a 3rd party linux set top box that ran Enigma2 AND you had access to Europe Satellites (19.2 & 23.5), you could get access extra stuff, and link to plex with HRTunerProxy.
