Hey guys,
Recently, the “slider” that scaled posters has stopped working. Both in web browser, as well as in the Plex App for Windows. Is this a known issue? I searched the forums, and didnt find any info… Thanks!
This is working in all different web browsers I’ve tested and also in PMP.
I’d look out for over-zealous anti virus software on your computer(s) or interfering web browser extensions.
I also recommend this configuration change in Windows:
Did you recently get the Windows ‘Feature Update version 1809’?
Another thought:
Are you using it with a small screen or in a very narrow sized window?
Thanks for the replies…
So, i have a 2K (2560x1440) 27" screen, and running plex in a browser or Plex App in full screeen mode.
My main browser is Chrome… I tried in IE, Edge & FF (Edge & IE - no extensions, FF, only ad blocking extension)
When i move the slider, either larger or smaller, the posters dont change size at all. They used to!
I have filed this as a bug.
Same bug with a 21:9 ultrawide (2560x1080) monitor.
It happened just after updating the plex web client to 3.77.4 version.
Phew, so not just me
Appreciate the replies, and OttoKerner for filing this as a bug! Have a great holiday all!
I have the same problem now - Version 3.77.4
Chrome on windows 10 - 2 different 4k monitors.
Use the hosted web app.
app.plex.tv
That’s what I use. I just tried the link you sent just in case, same problem occurs.
The version number you cited above was definitely from the (older) ‘local’ web app.
The bug is already fixed internally, if I saw that correctly. It just needs to be packaged into a release.
Oh great! Well it’s certainly not critical, I’m happy just knowing it’s got a fix coming. Thanks so much for the quick replies!
I also have 2560x1440p they used to work don’t know what changed but they don’t work anymore
