Many potential uses for this feature, as people have been reporting for years. Please everybody upvote this so we get some action!

A really helpful new feature that would make many users happy would be a a Plex Slideshow app (for android and iOS) or integration into the native Plex App so users can have a tablet set aside as a digital picture frame that would circulate all random pictures or certain selected files/photos. At the moment it is only possible to display photos 1 by 1. It would be good to have a photo slideshow functionality:
Play all
Play by folder
Shuffle play
Select transition type
Include videos playing in photo library
…

I like almost every aspect of Plex, but the Photo Slideshow is really miserable. Please add ken burns with transitions and music.

Fade Music from Playlist in and out during Photo Slideshow
Quick feature request to add the ability to add photograph slideshows to client apps, and for them to support a few different transitions from one photograph to another together with a variable delay. Suggested transitions could be fade-in/fade-out, Ken Burns effect, page turn simulations, slide-in or out from one side of the screen. These are for single photo to single photo only transitions, nothing overly complex.
Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see any way to show a photo slideshow in the Apple TV 4 app. Hopefully others think this would be a good feature and shouldn’t be too difficult to implement.
Please add a slideshow feature for photos on ios plex app.
