Smart Hub Plex App lost connection to server

My Samsung Smart TV UN65JU639D running the Plex App version 2.012 PMS stopped connecting to my Synology DS920+. This after a recent update to Plex Media Server. I’ve verified that the media server is operational by connecting via alternative apps (Infuse and DS Video). I’ve also been able to launch Plex App on my Amazon Firestick.

This leaves me with the Samsung app.

I’ve rebooted the TV by unplugging it for 5 minutes and I’ve also deleted the App (not just remove it from the favorites), then re-installed it.

Any thoughts?

Yes, something going on, I can’t login anymore with orca app, only offline mode helps here

Try this: Plex app orca 2.012 no longer shows 4 digit pin

deleting the app then reinstalling it at least launched the app. Got the screen that SHOULD have displayed the characters required to register the device…I saw the 4 boxes, but no characters. Very frustrating.

Even tried to login using my Plex Account…all I got was those three little boxes in the upper left corner.

Doesn’t work anymore it seems, we are stuck with offline mode for now
