Smart TV 'Now Playing' Music track background image - not the same as album background

on a LG smart TV player, the ‘Now Playing’ Music track background image not the same as album image.

I’ve added an album image by going to my NAS DSM>Plex clicked on the pencil in the album and chose - backround - then added the image.

On the TV, the background image for the whole album is what I uploaded, but when I play the music from the album, the ‘now playing’ background is not correct.

I’ve even added the background as background.jpg in each album folder and refreshed the metadata.

Any ideas why this is happening? Is there a place I can go inside the plex file system, find the wrong background images, copy the names of those images and replace the images with the new custom images, renaming the new images the same as the default images?

Or maybe an easier way?

It appears this is a bug in the app. It does show the album-specific background on the preplay page, but the player itself appears to always use the background of the album artist.

Oh man, I really need a photo of hot coco and a christmas tree while listening to Michael Bublé’s Christmas album. I hope it’s fixed with the next release.
