So Plex has not a support service?

I wrote to security@plex.tv to report some bugs, this is what they replied:

“Very sorry you’re having trouble. Unfortunately, we can’t provide general support, troubleshooting, or investigation via email, so we handle those requests through our support forums (at https://forums.plex.tv/), which allow for in-depth investigation into issues by both our staff and helpful community members.”

So that means that, if I’ve a problem, my only hope of a solution is some user replying to my posts in this forum? I already wrote several that were unanswered (some other got some help from users).

Not a good politic, especially if you’re a Plex pass subcriber. I guess I’ll let my monthly pass expire without renewing. To be clear, I like Plex, but I’d like to pay and have a good support, especially on bugs. If there’s not official support I guess I’ll keep using the freeware features.

Just be warned, if you do, you will have to pay the 1-time activation fee for mobile devices(if you haven’t already).

Yes I know, thanks.
But, since that app is not able to play some of my videos (that’s one of the bugs) I guess I’ll use the web version, that works well.
