I’m supposing we have to be plex employees, otherwise let me know. I’m just a paying plexpass customer, not an employee, and keep seeing new releases of PMS with (#'s) that don’t seem to address problems i’ve reported and no idea how to lookup these (#'s) to reference my problem reports or what you’re talking about in new releases. Example is the new release of PMS v1.7.4 mentioned here forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1467288/#Comment_1467288 that doesn’t address any of the issues I’m having and have reported, so I’m still at v1.6.1 waiting for… resolution of the problems i’ve reported. I’ve come to the conclusion that plex is too busy adding new buggy features to attract new customers to actually listen to them and fix issues. Would love to be proven wrong. My patience has just about run out.
Unless there’s some reason you can’t upgrade, you should move to the latest version. Not all fixes make the release notes from what I’ve noticed over the releases. It’s simple to revert to a previous version if you feel the need.
It might help those looking at this thread if you referenced a few of the issues you’ve reported.
Doing this would help determine if the issues you are referring to have been addressed.
Or, like @kegobeer-plex indicated, update to 1.7.4 and see for yourself if the issues you are having have been resolved.
Let me re-phrase my question as it appears to be misconstrued. Is there a git-hub or other public facing repository/website that we ordinary mortals can use to decode the Problem Report #'s mentioned in the PMS release notes?
i am curious as well, how valid is it to claim “Plex supports X or Y” if all we get are forum posts? what is the support, exactly? I’m genuinely curious. Just talking from personal experience here, maybe I’m missing something
I have thrown money on the said “supported” hardware and it’s just a pit thus far. Talking to Hauppauge or whoever about Plex is hopeless.
I get that ‘DVR/Live TV’ is still in beta, but at least ‘support’ what you claim to ‘support’ ?
Frustrating to just forum post and hope for some attention. Thats all i’m sayin. <3 Plex - but it can be frustrating to get things working, even when ‘supported’.

Please oh please PLEX give us a public issue tracker. At least then we will know that you are working on the issue or that it was rejected, low priority etc. You are running a public beta but giving us (the public) very poor tools to help, and it’s hard not to get frustrated. We love your product and appreciate your efforts, but this beta has been a bit of a mess.
See this lengthy thread for frustrated customers stuck on old versions due to DVR issues.

Update
A PLEX employee has responded on the thread I linked. A better issue tracking system is in the works!
So far PMS v1.7.6 behaving itself [PR#9196-01.653]
