(Solved!) Black screen with audio

Hi there. I was experiancing an issue with the latest Plex player for Windows desktop. When playing any type of video file the audio was working fine but only a black screen appeared.

The setup I use:

  • Latest Plex Media Server for NAS Synology DSM 7.2.2+
  • AMD RX 6900 XT graphic card
  • Windows 11 Pro

After some research I found the solution. The problem is in the latest version of Plex for Windows player. I removed it and installed the version 1.104.0.241-2164c90a. The video is working fine now.
