Several of us have reported something similar (see Playback Hangs Near End of File After FF/RW/Pause - AndroidTV Client - #19 by divideby0). I hadn’t found anything in common about the content that caused the problem for me, but you’ve apparently discovered it happens (for you, anyway) with content being transcoded. Does it happen for any transcode operation (i.e., audio only, video only, both audio & video)? I will attempt to recreate this on my Nvidia Shield and see if transcoding is the key.
