The title pretty much sums it all. I have a huge music library in my media server, and both me and my wife have very different tastes (I like to listen do death metal during work, for example, while she doesn’t like this at all).
Both of us are long time last.fm scrobblers, and we want to know whether is possible through vanilla plex, or with some plugin, to link a different last.fm account to each user on my server.
No external services can be linked to managed users at all.
This is only possible if your wife has her own full plex.tv account.
(Note that you can add full plex accounts into your Plex Home, so fast user switching is still possible.
In other words: not all users in a Plex Home are “managed” users.)
That’s a very interesting workaround. Can she use PlexAmp, then, as another user on my master account?
It should be possible, if you first sign in to Plexamp as yourself, then perform Switch User to her account.
