SOLVED: Plexamp on Cinnamon - Disappearing Window Controls

Server Version#: Always latest stable
Player Version#: plexamp 4.3.12

Plexamp v4.13.2 on LMDE7 (Cinnamon desktop)

As per subject line, the sometimes useful window controls on plexamp have gone into hiding. Despite Experience > Desktop Integration > Using System Windows Control = TRUE, I don’t seem to be able to coax them back.

Is there some kind of reset option or trick that’ll get the feature back?

SOLVED: Set Desktop Integration > Using System Windows Control = FALSE

  • Plexamp will prompt for restart.
  • When you click RESTART Plexamp will shut down.
  • Don’t wait for it to automatically restart. It won’t.
  • Open Plexamp .

Repeat the above but set Desktop Integration > Using System Windows Control = TRUE.

After the Plexamp closes and you restart things will be as they should be.
