That worked. I’ve took the risk of loss of cabin pressure and set the maximum H.264 level to None and the TV takes the 1080p video stream directly. The player recommended the level was to be left a 4.0 so I didn’t think about changing it. After examining the source video I found out the video stream was encoded at level 4.1.
Only puzzle I’ve got now is that there is a slight judder like frames are being skipped. The TV is connected to the LAN by wire. Yet the Chromecast plays the film flawlessly. Would this be a issue with the Sony Bravia TV or the Opera TV player?
One would think that the TV would manage the same video stream from the Plex Media Server without issues or loss or quality?
