Some DVR Recordings not showing up in Library

I have just started using Plex DVR, and it has recorded The first episode I setup for Moonflower Murders (S01E02), but it is not showing up in my Recordings Library. Other recordings have recorded and shown up in the library.

The library also contains 2 other folders that are showing up correctly, from two other sources. One being my PlayOn recording folder and the other, my other DVR that I am transitioning from.

Well it seems to be a naming issue. It’s very confusing to me that a show that Plex records, from it’s own guide data, cannot be correctly identified? I understand that theTVDB and theMoiveDB both list it one way, while the guide shows it differently. But, really, I shouldn’t have to go in manually to rename files whenever this happens.

I feel like a DVR that I paid for should get this right, or at least have a support mechanism besides the forum.

Sorry for the rant. This is just frustrating. Just bought this after trialing this a while back and decided that I’d go for it with the Pro Week sale. Only to find a fairly big issue on the first day I enable the DVR.

Sticking with Channels DVR at $80/year is starting to look not so crazy.

Plex uses data from the broadcaster and it doesn’t usually line up with TVDB/TMDB but the show should have shown up on the “Recently Added in TV Shows” hub and the Live TV DVR Schedule. Easiest to keep a separate library for DVR use.

Thanks, but I tend to look at libraries, not the hubs. But still, I couldn’t find anywhere to watch the program I know recorded.

I guess this software is just not making sense to me. If I told it, before recording, that it should go into a specific library, and the folder it should record to, that it would actually show up somewhere. Literally, the only place I saw it was in the DVR Schedule tab, which I couldn’t play it from, and the actual file in the folder.
