I recently imported a children’s TV show with ~90 very short (5min) episodes. I found that the first few episodes play immediately one after another without the usual 15s delay…but then others do not.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how I might control it for other episodes and shows?
Those 5 minutes of duration are the magic number. Plex will only show the post play screen for items that are more than 5 minutes long. Shorter items in a queue will automatically proceed to the next item (independent if Auto play is enabled or not)
Ahh thank you very much for clarifying. Is there anyway to adjust that 5min threshold? Even a hack on the config?
None that I’m aware of. I’ve been running into this e.g. w/ tv show specials that are shorter than 5 minutes. Personally I had hoped this should at least respect the auto-play configuration
