I’ve setup Plex on my older Synology DS213j, running the newest version of DSM. To use it play music on my Sonos setup.
It runs, I can play music. At least some of it.
All MP3s works fine, while only some FLAC files are able to play. Log snippet (Plex Media Server.log) of an example when it fails further down.
I guessing my NAS is not up to the task (see the log below), but I’m curious of two things:

On Sonos, some FLAC files works fine, while other doesn’t. They can be from the same album. And some smaller files doesn’t work, while some bigger files do.

When playing the same music files either through the plex web player or android plex app, the same files that fails on Sonos, plays without any issues.
Looking at the details of the different files, the bitrate doesn’t shed any light on the issue. I can see no pattern in what plays and what doesn’t. I must admit I only looked on few files.
The bitrate ranges from 450 - 1500. At first it actually looked like some of the files with a bitrate around 1400 - 1500 works, but those sub 1000 doesn’t. Looking at further files, didn’t support that theory.
I think a simple solution could be to convert the FLAC files to some “simpler”, maybe a more expensive solution could be to by a more powerful NAS. But that doesn’t help me to understand why in the current setup, it works/doens’t work like it does
