I think this bug may have been caused by a Plex update.
I recently had a family member tell me movies I shared with them weren’t showing up in their account. They previously never had problems with my shares. The first thing I did was check my share settings on my Plex server and everything is still accurate. I then logged into their account and sure enough, in some libraries I’ve shared with them movies aren’t showing up or only 1-2 movies show up (in all cases I’ve shared at least 100 items per library). What’s even stranger is that when I click the recommended tab the items I’ve shared with them show up. I’ve included a video showcasing this bug as I click on different movie libraries and then toggle between the Library and recommended tab. The “Movies” and “Horror” libraries are having the noticeable issues. I also, just realized if I sort the library by date instead of title they items show up as well, here is a video that shows this happening.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a solution to rectify this problem?
To further clarify all the items are accessible on their account through the recommended tab they just don’t show up in library. I’ve also checked this on a few different computers which render the same results. I’ve also checked this on different accounts I’ve shared with and they are having the same issues.
