I am in the process of adding local theme music to one of my TV show libraries.
I am using the VLC player to convert and extract the theme music from the video file and make a “theme.mp3” for the TV shows that do not have one by default.
I am placing the file into the root folder of each show and refresh metadata for it.
THIS I WORKING WELL for my library (so no need to check the library settings).
I have done so with more that a dozen shows.
But now, I am facing a problem which I find no solution to.
One theme.mp3 which I created just like the others, is NOT playing well - in any TV show that I am adding that file to. It’s not playing for Plex Web and not in the Plex App for FireTV.
So I checked the codec info for the file not playing as TV show theme:
But… here’s the info on a file that is playing well:
Cannot see a difference and both files are playing well in any player that I tried.
Obviously it is something about the file which I cannot lay my hands on…
Can I send in that non-working theme sample (1,6MB) to any of the devs in order to find out why it’s not being played?
Or any other help?
