Some movies iOS won't stream to Chromecast, but my wife's will. My phone updated, she hasn't

My phone updated, now old favourites will not play. She can play all, old and newly added, mine may or may not. Cannot see any rhyme or reason with formats, size etc.
I’d love my old player back.. failing that how do i fix movie playback? i have downloaded alternate versions to check, no joy.

My iPad stopped being able to stream from my local server, it just stops every few minutes. My AppleTV which I assume is still on the old code works fine in the same room and so does the web version. Oh and the iPad also gets really hot and the battery drains quickly. What a joke of an update.

How do i get an answer from the company? I paid for a service i cannot use ?

What answer do you want? There are 100’s of other posts that are similar and not enough resources to give individualized answers.

I want a representative, from the company i have bought a product from, to fix or remedy their product.
They could implement a facility to allow customers to roll back to a previous version, they could update.
Why are you asking me what i want if you are not involved?
