So I am relatively new to Plex and loving it so far, but I am having an odd problem. Some of my movies will not play on my PS3, but I can play them on my ipad, iphone and remotely on my computer at work. I am guessing I have a setting wrong, but anyone know what I can do to figure it out?
Try going into the video settings on your PS3 and uncheck Allow Direct Play. You may also have to set the quality setting to something lower like 8Mbps.

This worked for me!! Thank you so much! I turned off “Allow Direct Play” and “Allow Direct Stream” and set the Local Quality to 8Mbps and the Online Quality to 8Mbps in order for this to work.
