I’m having an issue where some videos are doing a kind of quick-stutter. Repeatedly (multiple times per second) the audio and video will stop and then restart. The videos are not especially large or high-bitrate. Larger files and higher-bitrate files play fine. In fact, most files play fine. The problem files play on VLC and Plex Media Player for Mac correctly; just not on Plex for Mac.
Network: Gigabit; a secure file copy from my plex server gets over 70MB/s.
Alternate Network: 802.11ac. All the same behaviors as described above.
Hardware transcoding: Tried both on and off
Hardware acceleration: Tried both on and off
Client hardware: Macbook Pro 16" 2019, 16GB RAM.
Server: Low end, but the file is being sent over Direct Play, and network/disk doesn’t seem to be the problem (see above re: file transfer speeds.)
