Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred

Server Version#: 4.123.2
Player Version#: 4.123.2
OS: Unraid 6.12.6
Plex Media Server Logs_2024-02-15_03-53-48.zip (980.7 KB)

After upgrading to this version, Plex doesn’t seem to be able to see any of my libraries anymore and I get the very generic error of “Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred”.

Has anyone else had this happen and have a solution?

Have tried on multiple container versions and Unraid versions with no luck.

Yes
Same Issue here. I have tried multiple shutdown, reinstall, scanning and cleaning bundles/optimization - no joy yet. All libraries and servers appear just cannot access them. Live TV seems to work fine though. Any other suggestions?

i seem to be having the same error since the update

How do we go about getting a plex representative to respond to this issue? It’s very frustrating

I have attempted to Repair the Plex Database by restoring from a previous database backup, Optimise the database, roll the version back, upgrade UNRAID version and still not working.

As I see in another thread, maybe worth a try?

@13rod04n Looking at your logs and there are errors reporting database disk image is malformed. Please walk through the instructions found here or check our ChuckPa’s DB repair tool.

Are you accessing your PMS through app.plex.tv or the bundled web app (IP:32400/web)? Thanks @SteSuperMario86 for linking that thread. Definitely worth a shot.

Running ChuckPa’s tool worked for me. Thank you so much for your help all!

For those of you that may not have a linux background, this video helped setup and run the tool on UnRaid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMKuecgZjqE&ab_channel=MattPetersen
