I’ve lost all my local directories on my Plex server. Not exactly sure when this happened, but it is within the last week. I’ve checked to see if my database is corrupt and it is not. I have server logs and can upload them if necessary.
Nothing has changed locally on my computer and all local folders are accessible and files play with no errors.
Inspect the plex media info of some library items.
Look at the drive letters and folder names under which Plex is expecting your files to find.
Then compare that to the drive letters and folder names under which you are actually seeing those files.
I have no items in my library whatsoever, so I cannot look at their media info.
Take a look into the task tray and see if the Plex server is running at all.
If you see it, right click on it and “Exit”. Wait a few seconds, then start it again with the Start menu. Refresh the web browser and see if the error persists.
I’ve done that multiple times, along with rebooting the PC it is running on. No change.
Grab the server logs (the “manual” way, zip the whole folder please)
I have them.

You will have to repair your database.

After you have it up and running again, please disable the “verbose” logging and leave only “debug” logging activated.
