"Something Went Wrong" when adding songs to playlist

I can’t add any songs to any (local) playlists on the new Windows player. I get the following error:
“Something went wrong. Make sure the destination is available and try again.”

Adding the same song to the same playlist on the web player is working, so I enabled debugging on my server and found this warning when trying to add the song to the playlist:

"Auth: Access denied to transient token call with method PUT "
