Just FYI
11th gen NUC can hardware render 4k 60hz and support HEVC decodig (why i bought the thing)
Now since as you said yourself i should have plenty of horsepower in th big rig so i skipped the tuning steps and updated the DLL and low and behold; problem solved on Both machines and both pieces of software.
Maybe someone should get that fixed with the next player update.
