Just got a new laptop and Plex Mexia Server info failed to transfer over from source device. So forced to start a new server. Took a few days for it to actually be active. On Plex.tv everything seems to be working perfectly fine. On my iOS app, song durations all come up as 00:00. I have to go into the individual album. Scroll through. Back out of the artist completely. Go back into that artist and album then the songs will read the correct duration. Songs can not play until this is done. I have thousands of albums. Does anyone have a better solution to this than me needing to go in and out of every album???
It sounds like the server is not finished with analyzing your files.
Keep it running – there is a ‘butler job’ which cares about this exact thing for you.

Set the maintenance time to a period where your computer is running, but Plex is not used for playback.

I have maintenance set from 2-5 am. And it is always running. But I will try to activate Upgrade media analysis during maintenance’
