Sonos won't work

I’ve had Sonos for many years, and every year or so Plex stops working. I’ve done a factory reset on my Netgear Orbi, reset my Sonos speakers deleted plex from Sonos and added it back, set my hosting computer as a static IP, set the three Sonos speakers as Static IP, set a fixed port on the router 32400, and still, “No Plex Server available. Please make sure your Plex Media Server is accessible.” When reading about double NAT, the closest I could figure to set my router was to change it from Router Mode to AP Mode, but when I did that I lost all internet connection and ended up doing another factory reset. Sonos has no idea how to fix it. Under Remote Access for Plex, it goes back and forth from red to green. Red=Not available outside your network. Even when it’s red however Plex works fine, even outside my network. It’s just Sonos that won’t work. Any ideas? I’m ready to chuck the speakers out the window. Also, all other music services work on Sonos, spotify, pandora, etc…I’m ready to give up. Too bad Plex won’t take calls to help with customer service, and that any advice I’ve read here in the past doesn’t work. I’ll try again though. Any ideas? Thank you.

OK, so I finally solved the problem…tier 3 of Sonos tech support was perPlexed (see what I did there?), and after searching more of the Sonos posts here someone said that in order for Sonos to work on Plex, some cache items have to be deleted. They thought Plex had to do it, but I was able to do it myself. I went to Finder, selected Go to Folder and typed in ~/Library/Caches and pressed enter. I then deleted every cache item that had the word Plex in it. Then after thinking I had lost all my files, Sonos started recognizing Plex again. OMG, what a pain…I hope this can save someone else some time, and while I can’t guarantee that deleting all the cache files won’t cause any problems, it did work for me.
