Please help

Would you please do the following?

  1. Settings - Server - General - Show Advanced
    a. Make certain DEBUG logging is ON
    b. Make certain VERBOSE logging is OFF
  2. Start the playback again
  3. Play until failure (Hopefully won’t take much?)
  4. Wait 30 seconds
  5. Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  6. Attach that ZIP file here

We’ll look at what’s happening (What PMS decided to do and how it ended)

logs attached, thank you

By the way I install Xplay just now and it work fine without any problem , it seems to be the official app has a problem .

The client app is disconnecting. The server logs don’t show why.

The application logs would be needed.

Hi ChuckPA

TV Sony Tv Debug.txt (2.3 MB) is done , please refer to the attachment.

hi

Any update on this

Hello

Anyone can help me in my issue

I looked at your logs. I do see something odd, but your log starts from the middle while you are already streaming a file, so it is missing all the startup configuration information. Can you restart the app, playback a file, allow it play for 30-60 seconds, stop it, then get me a new log from the Android TV app and from your PMS?

Sure I will do that and share the logs but as I mentioned before I am able to view the same movies (1080P) with Xplay !!!

hi
Please find the logs you requested Plex Media Server Logs_2020-02-05_07-12-18.zip (3.8 MB) tt.txt (1.1 MB)

If I may augment here?

  1. If you can log into the shell as root, I would like you to delete the file:
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/lib/dri/iHD_drv_video.so

This driver is known to have problems with ApolloLake CPUs (your CPU is one).
You can use the other driver (i965) without worry.
If you update again before the iHD driver is repaired, you will again need to remove the file.

Doing this will allow hardware transcoding to operate correctly for you.

We do need ask you to recreate this with DEBUG logging turned on again.
Please turn it on and leave it on. It does not consume more disk space with it on.
The buffer size is of fixed length. It does allow us to see more of what PMS is doing.

Please do NOT turn on VERBOSE logging,. Keep it off.

Hi ChuckPA

I delete the file but still same issue :pensive:

Dear ChuckPA

Please find the new logs below, as I mentioned before this issue with **the andoried official Plex app only **

Plex Media Server Logs_2020-02-06_23-06-15.zip (3.2 MB)
TXT.txt (1.1 MB)

I did upgrade the PMS to beta but still same issue,

please help

maybe this is related to @ Nvidia Shield EAC3 audio stopped working

hi TeknoJunky

I try that but still same issue :frowning:

There are several androi-related problems, this is another instance of it.
Thank you for the logs.

See if you can add the exception in your modem or router to allow the private domain “plex.direct”.

The logs indicate the connection is being blocked just as a firewall would but the behavior is also inconsistent.

Hi

Thank you for the update, I will remove the firewall and connected the modem direct to the switch and update you the status, but those IPs not part of my private IP list
I have Two VLAN
1- for gust WiFi 172.16.0/24
2- for LAN and my devices 192.168.10.0/24

Hi
I connect direct to the Internet without the firewall but still same problem , what I notice the the videos which I download from YouTube via IDM (1080P) case this problem and app have download movies from different source it is work fine :neutral_face:strange
