Sort Artist tag now matches Artist tag

FYI, It’s not simply matching sort artist. It’s ignoring the embedded tags and using it’s own information to populate the “sort artist” data field.

Plex Music Agent Not Honoring Embedded Album Artist Sort Tag

Adding on here to say that this is now looking like a bug in the server software. I have another music library (for classical) that I have not done a thing with, and when I went to listen to a piece of music today, I see that all the of the “sort artist” fields in Plex have been changed to what appears to be a Plex default. For example, all my Beethoven files have “Beethoven, Ludwig van” in the “album artist sort” tag. But now all my Beethoven music simply has “Beethoven” in the “sort artist” da…

I’m looking forward to this being fixed in the public release of 1.27.0
