When I view a collection sorted by release date, newest films are always at the bottom. I’d like the option to have newest films at the top and oldest films at the bottom. Sort by reverse release date.

I agree with this suggestion. I find that large collections can be cumbersome to navigate, especially when you want to browse newer movies. It becomes annoying to scroll all the way to the end of a list to locate the newer films.

Every time I come to the forums I’m baffled to find a stupid basic functionalities that Plex whimsically does not have.
I would like to +1 this as well.
I’ve created my own custom list (Mike’s New and Popular), and as I add movies to the list I want them to appear from newest to oldest, so the people in my family don’t need to scroll to the end every time they want to see the newest movies in my list.
I’ve seen quite a few requests for this going back ~6yrs now, and it seems like it would be a fairly simple implementation. I switched to Plex Meta Manager, but I do feel like I shouldn’t have needed to do this.
