to make it easier to watch my movies and series I open the main menue in the plex windows app and click on more .
Now I pin all media libaries so thats easier for me wo change the libary.
And for a better overview I sort the libaries from a to z.
But when I open Plex on the tv or smartphone, etc. I must pin the libaries again and the sort order is in the order I pinned them.
Is it not possible that the sort order of the libaries are the same for the same user ? So that I have my special order on every device ? And when my wife is using her profile she has her order on all devices too.
Its very annoying to sort the libaries on every device again, becoause I have over 30 libaries
Sidebar preferences will vary for many users for their different devices. You might not want to focus on music libraries on a big-screen client or prefer watching home videos of your family only on your family tablet…
There’s currently no option to sync the sidebar customization across different clients (except for the web app).

That may be the case. But just because you might want to have different pinned media libraries on different devices does not mean that this applies to the general public.
And just because you or Plex interprets it this way is no reason to include an option that offers this possibility of synchronization.
Or just as it is the case in the post you linked. If I create an account for the children and then sort the media libraries on the PC. Because sorting is much easier this way than on a TV, Tabklet or FireTV Stick with the remote control or via the touch display.
