Ok this is my setup:
I have my media server on a synology NAS.
I have an “Other video” library with my home made movies, about 100 movies.
All my file names are like “2006_Weekend in Stockholm.m4v”, “2007_Vacation in Denmark” and so on.
I manually edit each movie with the Plex Web App.
All of them I edit like this:
Title: Vacation in Denmark
Sort title: 2007_Vacation in Denmark (same as filename)
Original title: Vacation in Denmark
Date: 2007-06-06
I mostly use Apple TV4 to watch my movies
I have the latest update on everything.
So whats my problem?

All movies are listed totally out of order on Apple TV, and on web (if I chose sort by name). In browser I can choose sort my year and it is fine, but on Apple TV I don’t have that option. And what is “Sort by name”, It does not sort by Title, Sort Title, Original Title or file name. I want them to be sorted in date-order, thats why I named the file by year.

On some movies, the titles I have edited reverts back to original after a while. It seems fine but then it has changed. I thought that the “other video” library did not update och resync or anything. I’ve seem many threads about this but I can’t seem to find a solution.
