Sorting Music by Artist

I would like my music, when sorted by artist, to be sorted within each artist by album name (which I “thought” was title), but when I ask for Artist by Title the albums within each artist are sorted by descending date of release (of the album). Sorting within Artist by album title makes much more sense to me. Is there a way?

sure, just
‘edit’ your music library,
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab and
switch the ‘Album order’ preference to your setting of choice

You can even override this ‘global’ setting for certain AlbumArtists individually, by ‘editing’ these again.
