Hi,
I am having issues with either my server or fire stick or both not playing sound on “Friends” TV episodes.
And what it does, you start the episode and it plays for 20-30 seconds but then the sound stop and video continues.
Does not affect the movies, just the tv series.
It just started this past week or so according to my wife who watches it.
I have looked over my settings to see if any thing new was added that could of changed what was happening.
I am not an expert or anything about the coding or transcoding etc of videos stuff.
So I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on my problem / teach me a little bit more on the setting of the Plex server to optimize it better.
My server / pc is probably pretty poor, but have not had any problems with it performing till now.
I am suddenly having the same exact issue and I have no idea what happened. Very frustrating. I haven’t been able to find a thing about this. Hopefully, someone can help or they will fix it in an update.
So when it was first happening, I was thinking something with the audio file had gone bad so I ripped the whole season again, turns out that wasn’t it. So played with a bunch of the settings and watching some YouTube videos.
Well it turned out to be as easy as uninstalling and reinstalling and logining back in!
Not sure if it will be the same for you. But hope its a direction!
