I’m unable to watch live TV using the Windows client - no matter what channel I choose I receive a “Playback error - source is unavailable” error message. Live TV plays fine through any android devices or web browser. Problem exists across both Plex servers and multiple Windows clients. I’ve tried playing around with various transcoding options but makes no difference. Recording and playback work fine.

Using the windows client. I’m able to watch all my TV channels internally, but all my radio channels show this “source is unavailable” error message. Remotely however, Plex live TV has all channels showing “source is unavailable”

Android on 4G and WiFi plays both TV and radio channels fine

I’m running manually-specified port

Anyone from Plex on these forums? Bought a solution recommended by Plex and it doesn’t work with Plex - would be grateful for some help?

I have exactly the same problem. I find it hard to believe that Silicon Dust or the Plex people do not have tech’s cruising this forum on a regular basis helping people with this stuff. As far as I am concerned I have thrown my money in the ditch if I can’t get any help. These companies depend on each other to enhance the sales of each company, almost as if they are full partners. It makes no sense to not help even if the other companies software is shutting down a customer’s happiness. Help!

I have the same problem. Silicon Dust Quatro and connect (2 tuners) and two plex (one in Mac and one in windows).

I get the Source is unavailable with six turners in the private net ;(

My other main concern is with the timeshift. The bar simply doesn’t work most of the time in a Mac Player. You shift 10 seconds and goes to the beginning.

So are there any Plex employee interested in responding??? Happy to take the advertising $$ off Homerun and promote their products, but not really too bothered whether they actually work with your product?

You may need to restart the server after disabling that setting.

I setup the DVR and Live-TV and this was working. I had trouble getting audio in my Android Boxes. I changed some settings and then have never got this to work again.
Server on Win 8.1 and open Plex in Firefox browser and get this playback error when trying to play a TV show from the TV guide.
I gave up, i don’t really use it this way but it did work at first. I disabled that option but no different but i did not restart the server so maybe that would help.
