This lack of playback speed controls… or weird implementation is so frustrating, it kinda looks intentional.
So, you can speed up music up to 2x… I mean… music. Who does speed music listening here?!? It must be something like the majority of people considering that’s been implemented, but I feel like old school as I don’t understand it.
However, you cannot speed up videos the same way… And this is something I do all the time, especially on YouTube. That’s because I consume a lot of instructional content, and speeding up is useful to kind of get to the point quickly.
Why is that?!? Why after so many years people asking to implement such basic feature Plex just plain doesn’t listen, but provide me with playback speed controls exactly where it’s less useful and unneeded?
