As title, this spinning circle is persistent at the bottom of the player, when nothing is playing. This issue emerged recently on one the last few versions of linux player.
If you start playing an item locally then it is replaced by the controls of the media item
anyone? @ChuckPa would you know who I can troubelshoot this with?
Can you get me the player logs while it’s doing this?
I’ll find who works on this and direct your logs and screenshot to them.
Interestingly do not seem to be able to set the Debug Level to Enabled - have a spinning circle there too…

I had this issue (spinning circle in settings) for a while.
It was recently solved by restoring default settings (in the debug menu).
