It would be great if there was an easy way to use star rating filters from album or artist views. Sometimes I want to listen to a specific artist or album without having to manually skip the low rated songs. I know I could use a complex filter and create a new playlist, but that is not practical for everyday use, especially since that functionality is not even available on most client apps.
Another way to do this could be searching within playlists. That is, I could search for an album or artist within a broader ratings-based playlist and then only get the appropriate album or artist tracks within that playlist. Seems like this would be easier to implement for client apps because you wouldn’t be establishing complex filters, you would just be searching within pre-existing playlists.
