Starting Track Radio from Recent Plays/Recent Searches doesn't work

PlexAmp 3.5.0 on iOS
Server: 1.24.1.4931, Mac

When there’s a Track Radio in “Recent Plays”, pressing it will play the normal track and subsequent album songs, rather than the Track Radio.

Same for when recent searches show a Track Radio, pressing that entry will play the normal track in the album setting rather than the track radio.

It works when we explicitly select a track and start the Track Radio, though.

Probably an early bug post launch, but thought I’d raise it.

Congrats on the launch.

While we’re at it, any chance or plans for “Download track radio”?

Best.

Thanks, good report/suggestion!

LOVE PlexAmp!!! But this is still not working for me in iOS v3.7.1. When I select track radio from Recent Plays, it just plays the track. Track radio does work really, really, really well. It’s just that I can’t one-click start it from Recent Plays.

i just checked over here. are you sure it was a new entry from Recent Plays? older ones won’t work.

Thanks for responding son quickly, elan. I just tried x-ing and old track radio from Recent Plays, force quit app, open app, go to same track and start track radio (works), force quit, open app, play track radio from recent plays. Still the same issue. I went through the same process with a track I had never used to seed track radio. Same result.

If it helps, my server is version 1.24.2.4973, running on WIn10.

Hold on. New observation as I type. Everything works as intended - even without quitting the app - as long as there’s not a queue (as indicated by the player at the bottom of the screen). As long as I exit the queue (i.e., long-press play/pause) selecting track radio from Recent plays works! What’s strange is that it doesn’t matter what’s in the queue. So track radio for Song 1 could be sitting there and neither track radio Song 1 or track radio Song 2 works from Recent Plays. As soon as I exit the queue, either one works. Jeez, I hope that made sense!

I’ll echo what @stonev mentions - the behavior is indeed erratic. Closing the currently active queue and opening one a track radio from recent plays does work, but for some reason doing so when playing something doesn’t.

Fixed in the next release.
