Thank you for all your efforts. I know it has been difficult to track down! I’ll let everyone else test it, but expect to upgrade shortly after release once confirmed. Worst case I still have the 1.6.1 installer and could downgrade if necessary.

This is a fix for how PMS handles recordings, not specific to an individual tuner… so yeah, all tuners 
Just want to be sure before I tried it out, version 1.9.7.4460
I upgraded to 1.9.7.4460 from the previous version, and it looks like the stuck forever at 100% is now the least of my problems. I found more often than not with the updated version the recording is stopping way too soon. With as little as 1 minute for a one hour show. But the recording will be reported as a success…
I guess the good part is it frees up the tuner so more than 2 shows can record in the same time period… But unless I want lots of show snippets, that is not much of an advantage.
The version of PMS with the DVR fixes has not been released yet, as far as I know. I’ll wait for official word and download it then.

1.6.1 is the version for me. I have a link for the Windows download, but you don’t specify what version you need.

That is correct. The version that has the patch for the “100% stuck” issue is currently in pre-release testing. Should be soon.
yeah I’m on 1.9.7… nothing is being saved in correct place there is stuff in the .grab file any word on how soon fix will be out?

Timing for this patch going out depends on if engineering does a hot fix or waits to include it in the next release. We’re in dogfooding right now which is the testing we do close to release. The outcome of that testing will determine how soon the release goes out. If there’s something wrong, then we would delay it. But there’s a chance the patch will go into a hot fix, which means could be a matter of days. A little longer if it goes out in the release.

It would be. I can’t make any promises, since it depends on if engineering puts it out as a hot fix or with the upcoming PMS release, but either way it shouldn’t be too long as the PMS update has hit release candidate.
1.9.7.4460 - I’ve actually been able to watch and record… Hope this is a trend. Not one failure so far, but I’m not a heavy user… Hope others fare as well.

its been good so far today and last night. 2 movies and 4 shows successfully recorded. hope I didn’t jynx it
**edit: jinxed it. that was a good run.
Though i was having issues with antenna, so i made a diy one it picks up more channels, but i figured out plex is have the issue in not showing channels, anyone have any ideal how fix?
Not to change topics, but doesn’t it suck when you can spend an hour to build a better antenna then a commercial one?
It has been a few days since Nov 15. Any update on the hotfix/PMS release situation? I think everyone here is crossing their fingers waiting for a hotfix.
It’s currently being tested by staff & ninjas. As Charles already said it’s in RC status which is an interactive cycle where we test, they fix, we test, etc until it’s ready for release to the masses.
