I have done most ft the things required to prevent this problem but to still no avail I can not connect Via from PS4 using Plex App
Now the only Software I know that is capable of doing this offline is Tversity but it does not have Movie Covers Are or Descriptions
Am I hearing correctly that PS4 may not stream plex offline? if not what about Roku and PS3? will those work
Can someone p[lease help me figure this out with Plex

Console devices, like the PS4 and X1, require an internet connection for third party apps to function. You can still access your Plex Server via its local IP address via web browser. I believe PHT and PMP also offer this functionality - think Roku, Raspberry Pi, Chromecast, or regular ol’ laptop.
You might have been able to do it with the API. I don’t have a PS4, so I cant speak about that specific device, but I use it to cast to my pi running rasplex using the local token method.
It’s due to the plex ps4 app seemingly needing to have a connection to PSN/SEN - without that, the app will not start.
