I’m still on 1.8.0.0 is there a way to manually install it?
Search for Plex for Xbox one in the store.
that’s weird just typed in plex under the search I guess there’s 2 options (plex and plex for xbox one)
Its not an update its a whole new app 
So there’s going to be 2 plex apps on the xbox then, how perplexed lol. I guess that’s handy if its buggy as a fallback
The old app will be replaced with the new app over the coming days, unfortunately there’s an awkward transition inbetween but there’s nothing we can do about that.
I guess it official, went to launch the old plex app and got the “time to update” notice. hope it works well

no it does not -people should have the option whether they want the new one or now
On consoles you don’t have the ability to keep old versions.
That’s just the way it is.
There are only both versions availiable right now because they are switching from a legacy app to a UWP app … but this is a one-time change and you only see both apps because of Microsofts implementation.
soo if there is a legacy version which i am assuming is the previous version which i was happy with gui etc how to get it
