I have seen this behaviour a lot lately - DNS request gets intercepted, but there is no subsequent WebServer (ports 80,443) call coming in.

It seems to be a Windows thing (8?)... and I don't know much about that.

One assumption: Firewall. But then again, that doesn't seem to cover all those issues out there.

From what I can see, the Webserver isnt starting the port 443 mode at all.

Can you paste your settings.cfg file for us to look at?

Did you follow the instructions for the certificate, including getting the latest version of Plexconnect and adding the certificate file into the ./assets/certificates folder?

MigthyMac is right...

also:

>> 22:32:10 PlexConnect: Press ENTER to shut down.

Where did you get THAT? It's about 4 month old...

This is the exact problem I've been having lately. But it happens after waking up from sleep

So plexconnect works fine until your pc goes to sleep?

my pc never goes to sleep its on 24/7..its my atv3

Why did you say this then?

i was under the impression it was about the atv going to sleep. my bad

Apple tv stays awake unless you put to to sleep even then its still “on” The only issue more then likely with your atv if it was the at. would be the cert and the dns set to your ip of your pms server

strange thing is that I'm able to get back to plex after restarting ATV..do you think recreating the cert file could fix this problem?

I think your atv is fine if you reset and it works your cert should be fine on the atv, wouldnt hurt to recreate new certs tho just to be sure on everything is correct from this site put it on the atv and in plexconnect:
