Look, I’ve paid my PLEX membership, back then I loved Plex, but year by year, Plex for me has got worse and worse.

STOP forcing “Skip Intro” on my Personal Library of moves and tv shows, I have tried and tried to turn this off, but I can’t, you have ruined PLEX for me.

JUST give me an option in the client to TURN THIS SH*T OFF

When I go to watch a special movie on my project screen, I DON’T WANT a HUGE banner saying “SKIP INRO”… I want a refund!!!

LOOK this is how bad this has come, if you want another $50 from me to turn all of this SH*T off, then fine… give me the option, but don’t me to watch it, or not be so arrogant to the supports that got you this far!!!

Truely don’t understand were that feature is a hindrance. I love it so much…

Skip intro can be disabled per library in the advanced settings and also at the server level in your server settings. I’ve it disabled and never see this option.

Thank you dokuro, I have tried various recommendations, but it’s still showing for me…

How do I turn it off, On my Fire Stick there is no local setting?

I have turn of the option on my Plex server (WD NAS) and done a library rescan and I STILL get the skip notice!!!111

So your saying a feature that removes Intro’s is not good. A good example of it worth is Law and Order SVU, to sit through the same Guff each episode is so painful.

Disable it at the library AND server level and then let the nightly maintenance task kick it. That’ll get rid of it. Just disabling at server level didn’t remove it for me for intros which had been detected already, I needed to disable at library as well. I’d a thread on this a while ago but could be hard to find…

I have a WD NAS, I can disable the feature in the menu on the Setting menu, and I do a complete rescan of the libraries, but it’s still there!

So buddy, are you saying it can’t be turned off?

I’m not at my pc atm, I’ll get you screen shots later if your still having trouble. But think I needed to optimise db and wait for nightly task to run before they got fully removed.

I have the option turned off in the menu, it’s been like that for weeks, even new content I add still have the Skip Intro menu!!!

Right, that’s the server setting, it’ll atop new intro being detected but won’t cleanup anything that’s created already. That’s one done.

Next goto libraries and then edit your tv library. Goto the advanced tab and scroll down til you see intro, disable it.

Cool, goto troubleshooting and optimise the db, that’ll help. Might take a min or two to run as it deletes the intros.

But you might need to wait 24 hours for the nightly maintenance to run.
