Stop overwrite hand-picked-posters when changing agent

I also experience this from time to time.

For example, I set title cards for a “The Mandalorian” (with local artwork) and at some point they got swapped, I don’t know when it happened and how, but Plex definitely swapped the local artwork for something else.
At that time I already tried to reproduce the problem, but unfortunately could not figure it out

I just tried again and updated my shows library, but nothing was changed in the process, but from what I saw when I went through the shows to check, some season covers were wrong. That didn’t happen with this update, but before… so something is definitely off.

It’s a bit of work to go through each film or show and add local artwork, but for my part it’s worth the effort.

Here are some places I look for posters:

Pretty sure @snickers_1 has already said it doesn’t work for him.
I guess it’s just me and you it works for.
It would be great though if we had an option for something like collection.jpg for self curated posters.
Collections for me personally are the weakest link.

picking up the poster.jpg files from lambda worked finally with disabling and again re-enabling.

off topic, but now i only have to figure out how to work with agent-plugins like lambda with the new plex agent O_o because using lambda was well worth it.
but i can’t find anything under Agents? Only Plex-Legacy - anyone has a link with how the new Agent is handling plugins?

so again, dev’s telling one hand-picked posters aren’t changed, just has no clue of their own product.

1. it is changing hand-picked posters
2. with lambda + prefer local media assets, it’s taking mkv thumbnails for plex thumbnails … WTF … so i had everything full of stupid bluray-CD-pictures
3. everything back to “use local media assets”, but not prefering them: plex is again changing hand-picket posters … hundreds of them …

but anyway, plex has become so unbelievable unusable that i’m not going to change them … guess now it’s the right moment to switch to emby … can’t tell how annoying plex has become with all of it’s bugs and bullshit features nobody uses
